Hello! The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is looking for volunteers. You may have volunteered in the past and we’ve lost track of you. You may be interested in trying some volunteering at AGSM. If you already volunteer but would like to highlight your areas of interest, please do.

The Word document can be downloaded, filled out and returned by email. If you prefer you may download the PDF, fill it out and mail it back to us. We will be happy to have you onboard!

Gift Shop

  • Sales, Customer Service, Restocking, Packaging

Reception/Mailouts

  • Greeting Visitors, Answering Telephone, Registering Students
  • Addressing envelopes, Stuffing envelopes, folding of letters/brochures

Library

  • Organizing books, filing

School Tours Program

  • Helping with tours and hands-on activities for school-aged children and youth
  • Preparing, organizing, cleaning, collecting and sorting art materials

Art School

  • Preparing, organizing and cleaning studios
  • Exhibition Receptions
  • Preparation of food/beverages

Events

Gala of Gifts (December)

  • Assisting with set-up, Preparation of food/beverage
  • Extra Volunteers for Giftshop
  • TeaRoom :Serving , Cooking, Sales
  • Kids Activity Room

Annual Fundraiser/ Special Events

  • Transportation of Artwork, materials
  • Set-up and Take down at venue
  • Ticket sales: prior to and at event
  • Assistance with various activities at Fundraiser/Special Event
