THE ART OF CREATING LEATHER CUFFED MITTS (WED)

In this course, Métis Crafter/Artisan Verna Demontigny will introduce participants to the art of crafting traditional mitts with traditional materials. Students will work through the step-by-step process of planning and creating a pair of leather cuffed mitts. Techniques for measuring, pattern planning, cutting, sewing, and basic decorative methods will be shown and explored.
