Position Available: Gallery Services Coordinator
Job Summary (F/T 37.5 hrs/week)
This is a permanent salaried position with benefits.
The Art Gallery of Southwestern Manitoba is seeking a key person to assist the organization in the effective, timely and responsive delivery of information and services to the AGSM members, program participants, visitors, and patrons.
The Gallery Services Coordinator duties include providing assistance in;
Gift shop and special events coordination;
Website and database development maintenance;
Marketing and communications through traditional and electronic methods;
Front desk reception scheduling & administrative assistance when required.
Skills required:
Customer service & business development skills;
excellent organizational, writing & communication skills (competency in Google Suite (Docs, Sheets, Calendar, Workspace and Spaces);
ability to multi-task, be flexible and creative.
Experience in the non-profit environment would be an asset.

Contract management
Knowledge of Square Point of Sales system
Knowledge of Wordpress
MailChimp
Adobe Creative Suite
Fundraising
Qualifications:
Post-secondary education, 2-3 years experience in customer service, retail or non-profit sector; demonstrated experience in event coordination; excellent broadly based skills in communications and office administration; and a demonstrated enthusiasm for the arts. Post-secondary education in Marketing, Commerce, Fine Arts or English.
Other Requirements: The position can involve evenings and weekends.
