Art Inspired Writing: Mythological Short Stories (WED)

Suitable for all levels, this six-week short writing course will explore historically engaging mythology. Engage with famous myths from Indian, Chinese, Greek and Roman cultures before creating your own fantastically complex characters. Students will draw inspiration from Kali Yuga, an exhibition of work by Emily Jan that is about the connection you feel to the places you live, and the magic you feel from the places you visit. Combining aspects of the visual and textual will help capture the artistic imagination and encourage a practice of written art every day, well past the end of this course.
