My Brandon is an exhibition in collaboration with the City of Brandon displayed in the Kayes Community Gallery at the AGSM from April 25 to June 1, 2024.
In early 2021, the AGSM and Brandon Tourism hosted an open call for the exhibition i {heart} Brandon, asking our community simply, what is it that you love about this city of ours? It was so popular that we are excited to revive it, this time in collaboration with the City of Brandon on the occasion of their new 30-year vision. Following the three themes laid out in the Brandon City Plan -- Healthy, Moving and Growing -- this year's call for art asks: What does your Brandon have to look forward to?
Visit the Kayes Community Gallery to view plans and discussions for Brandon's future with us! This exhibition includes details from City Plan Open House events, photography contests, local artists, and immersive art that you can help contribute to with your own ideas.
In addition to the public exhibition, prizes from Brandon Tourism and other collaborators will be awarded in Adult, Youth, and Viewer's Choice categories!
