INTRODUCTION TO LINOCUT AND IMAGE MAKING (THURS)

This 8-week course will explore the process of developing an image for the lino-cutting process. Students will learn the basics of composing an image that will suit the linocut process, and then cut and print the lino to create their own unique prints. Safe cutting techniques, proper inking methods, along with edition labelling and press usage will be taught.
